Day FIVE : Quarter-Finals Part One
It’s quarter-finals time in El Gouna, with four matches from the top half of the draws on the glass court at the Cultural and Conference Centre.
In the opening two matches top seeds Nour El Sherbini and Ali Farag won in straight games. Belgium’s Tinne Gilis saw a two-game lead disappear before finally beating Salma Hany, and Tarek Momen scored a big upset win over Diego Elias on the traditional court to finish.
