2026 Day SIX: Semi-Final Day
The 14th edition of the El Gouna International continued tonight with four more Semi-Final matches matches on the Glass Court.
Women’s top seeds Hania El Hammamy and Nour ElSherbini won in contrasting fashion – Hammamy getting the better of a long three-game tussle with Amina Orfi while Sherbini maintained her unbeaten record over Olivia Weaver as the American retired injured early in the second game.
Both men’s semis produced upsets as Diego Elias ended the long unbeaten run of Mostafa Asal in a five game thriller, while world junior champion Mohamad Zakaria got the better of Youssef Ibrahim in four games.
