R1: Jonah comes back against Balazs
Jonah Bryant (ENG) 3-2 Balazs Farkas (HUN) 6-11, 3-11, 11-8, 11-0, 11-4 (64m)
England’s Jonah Bryant produced an incredible comeback in his RD1 clash with Hungary’s Farkas Balazs. The Englishman trailed 2-0 to the Hungarian but fought back incredibly to win the match 3-2 after 64 minutes.
Balazs needed physio attention in the third game and never looked right from that point as Bryant ran away with the match.

Jonah:
I’m happy to get over the line there.
“I wasn’t too happy with the overall performance, but I was 2-0 down, getting outplayed, so I did well to find a way into the match.
“There was a lot of frustration going on inside me, so I was just trying to keep my head, but when it’s over you can let it all out”
“I think my error count was too high and I was opening up the court too much for him and a combination of him getting worse and me getting better was the key I think.”
