I felt quite good today. I went back to focusing on the game, I love the technical part of the game, the last couple of months, I just went back to that. I’ve been more in the moment, and focusing on the game itself.
I always find hard to play, he is a big guy, he is really good at volleying so if I get the ball in the first half, he can finish it.
I’ve enjoyed it, I’ve enjoyed the things I’ve been working on, the things I enjoy doing in training. And I’m really enjoying my squash again.
It’s so nice to see Nele getting the rewards she deserves for all the work she’s put in, the hard training, I see everything she does, it’s inspiring how much she trains, what she puts into her squash.
You should hear us in the room, we talk about techniques, ways to improve our squash, we are just enjoying it the same, it’s very nice to have someone to bounce ideas off. We are just in a good place, we are both enjoying our squash and trying to evolve our games together, so it’s fun, it’s real fun.
