I think I played pretty well in the first two games, my track record against Leonel is rather good, I won twice 3/0. But today, I was quite edgy. Because I haven’t made the third round of a Platinum the whole season, and in the ToC, I was in the same kind of situation against El Serty, had match ball, 2/0 up, and I lost in five.

So today, I was 2/0 up, comfortably, match ball, and I lost that game, I became a bit edgy, a few flashbacks… But my squash thankfully was good and I executed my game plan well enough today to get through. Still, it was tough.

I am still based in Bristol, with Hadrian Stiff, and I go sometimes to the States with Shawn Moxham.

Tomorrow, I’m playing Diego on the glass. It’s the last event of the season, everybody is tired, so it’s about being up for the match, I maybe fresher than he is, he played much more matches than I did. And I’m hungry. He had a tough match mentally today so…

I’ve been playing well this season, and taken the guys to close matches, some five. I’ll have to be patient tomorrow, Diego is world number one for a reason this season, we’ll see, I’m excited about it for sure.
