R1: Very tough 3-0 for Zakaria against Lobban

It was a very weird match. Maybe the ref should have been a bit tougher from the beginning… there were a lot of movement, a lot of shouting, a lot of pushing.

But we know that those hard court battles are always tough, we just want to get them out of the way. I’m glad I did that, he obviously played well. He has been on the tour for a while, he is a great player, it was good to get out of the match, and I hope next round I’ll play better.

We’ve played like 5 times this season alone! It’s really a blessing to be in the mix of those matches, having marathons with him, it’s very nice and I hope I can finish the match in less than two hours!!!
