R2: Abou’s adductor’s flared up, retired against Diego

It was the match I flagged as match of the day. And it looked like I was right… up to 9/8 Diego in the opener… Abou just touched the adductor, finished the game quickly, asked for the physio, tried to come back, but there was no use…

Diego : “It never feels good to win like this. I know that Mohamed had this injury last week and couldn’t quite recover for this week. I wish him the fastest recovery possible, so he is okay for the rest of the events this season.

“Last week I did well in Optasia. It was the first event I played well for a long time. I’m happy I had those good matches and hopefully I can go all the way.”
