QF: Marwan injured retires against Diego

A sad end to a nice day of Squash… Marwan seemed to be moving well in the first game – Diego was on fire – but from the middle of the second, he seemed to not be able to run to the right side of the court.

At the end of the second game, he asked for the physio, and never came back on court.

“I’m not really sure what was wrong with Marwan, I think it was something wrong with his hamstring.

“I was very happy with my levels today, I was playing really good squash.

“I’m happy I’m back to being really solid, not making any errors – that’s when I’m playing my best.”
