Joel Makin (Wal) 3-0 Yahya Elnawasany (Egy) 11-7, 17-15, 11-5 (42m)
He was playing flat out from the first rally, he was taking his chances, he was taking me on and being aggressive with his squash but very respectful, and he really seemed like a nice guy.
He was dangerous, he was trading with me in the first game, he was tired, but after that first, he was attacking well, he’s got a lot of options, lots of good skills around the middle, nice touch as well.
At this point of my career, I can tidying those matches quite well, I’m able to stay quite steady, I know what I’m supposed to do, and not drain the reserves too much.
I’m playing Asal on Monday on the glass, completely different court. I’ll see what the conditions are like and try to adjust…
