Day Two : Hany comes back to gatecrash quarters

After a busy opening day the 2025 El Gouna International settled down, with eight second round matches from the top half of the draws.

The first eight quarter-finalists were decided, with Salma Hany, winner of last week’s Manchester Open, producing the sole seeding upset as she came from two games down to deny seventh seed Siva Subramaniam.
