Day THREE : Round THREE begins

Round three got under way with eight quarter-final spots in the top half of the draws to be claimed.

The afternoon session at  the El Gouna Squash Centre started with two upsets as Tesni Evans and Iker Pajares ousted Egypt’s Nour El Tayeb and Tarek Momen, both in four games.

The rest of the day’s matches, including four evening clashes at the Conference and Cultural Centre, went to seeding as top seeds Nouran Gohar and Diego Elias won in straight games.
